This One of a Kind piece is:

• made with a combination of Indigo dyed linen and repurposed vintage Kasuri fabrics

Horn button:

• Button to create the handle.

• Tie once and button for a shorter handle.

• Button as is for a longer handle.

Interior/Storage Pouch:

• Made from a company promotional tenugui (traditional hand towel).

• To use in conjunction with the bag. Rather than adding a lining, the interior construction of the bag is then revealed.

• It may also be used for storing the patchworked bag.

About the Materials:

• Collected over 10 years all over Japan from visiting antique markets, shows and dealers.

• These fabrics range from 30-100 years old.

• Antique fabrics such as these may include areas of fraying, fades, stains, patches or small holes.
